Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Good Quality Olive Oil or Avocado Oil
  • 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese works out to be about 1.90 oz
  • 2 Cups Fresh Basil Leaves works out to be about 1.80 oz
  • 1/2 Cup Almonds works out to be about 2.85 oz
  • 1/2 Tsp Salt
  • 4 Cloves Fresh Garlic

Instructions

  1. Add the almonds, basil leaves, cheese, cloves, salt and garlic to a food processor

  2. Process that mixture until the almonds have broken down and everything is fully mixed.

  3. With the food processor running slowly add the oil. Stop every so often to check the consistency. If you like it dryer and don’t need all the oil then simply leave some out.

  4. After you have a smooth pesto, give it a taste and if needed adjust the salt if desired.

  5. If not using the pesto right away, store in a glass jar in the fridge until ready to use.
