Easy Skillet Unstuffed Peppers Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 Tbsp Garlic powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Black Pepper to taste
  • 1 lb Ground Chicken, Beef or Turkey
  • 1/2 Cup Mozzarella cheese shredded
  • 2 Tbsp Minced dry onion
  • 1 Green bell pepper diced small
  • 1 Yellow bell pepper diced small
  • 1/2 Cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 Orange bell pepper diced small
  • 1 Cup Cooked white rice
  • 8 oz Tomato sauce

Instructions

  1. Prepare uncooked rice per package instructions, and set aside.

  2. In a large skillet cook ground meat with onion, peppers, and seasonings over medium-high heat until done. Drain if needed.

  3. Reduce to medium heat and stir in cooked rice.

  4. Stir in tomato sauce and cook until heated.

  5. Garnish with cheese, serve and enjoy!
