How To Make Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans

Looking for a sweet treat that is also a pick me up? These chocolate covered coffee beans are hands down one of my favorites! Easy to make!

  1. The first thing you need to do is to melt the chocolate. To do that add the chocolate chips to a microwave-safe dish. Heat for 20 seconds at a time stirring after each heating.

  2. When the chips are fully melted use a fork to dip the beans in the chocolate. You want to make sure the coffee beans are fully coated. Allow most of the chocolate to drip off.

  3. After the bean is coated, place it on wax paper or a silicone mat.

  4. Allow the beans to cool slightly before adding a pinch of coarse salt to the top of each bean.

  5. You want the chocolate to be cool so the salt will stay in chunks but not so cool that the salt does not stick to the top of the chocolate.
