Pickled Radishes

Ingredients

  • 1 bunch radishes thinly sliced (I use a mandolin)
  • 3/4 cup water
  • 3/4 cup vinegar apple cider is fine
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 pepper
  • 1/2 red pepper flakes
  • 2 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 garlic clove peeled

Instructions

  1. In a microwave safe glass bowl heat up the water, vinegar, salt, pepper, red pepper flakes and honey until dissolved.
  2. In a clean canning jar add the sliced radishes and garlic, then pour the vinegar mixture over the radishes.
  3. Allow to cool and put in the fridge.
  4. They'll be ready in 24 hours.
