Homemade Coleslaw Recipe With A Twist

Coleslaw is great as a side dish or on a nice BBQ sandwich. But store-bought often has too much dressing. Try this homemade coleslaw recipe with a twist!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 Cup Mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp Lemon Pepper Seasoning salt free
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Dill fresh will also work
  • 6 Cups Coleslaw Mix or chop your own cabbage and carrots
  • 1/3 Cup Sunflower Seeds optional
  • 1/2 Fresh Lime
  • Black Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Begin by mixing the mayo, lemon pepper and dried dill together. 

  2. Next, stir in coleslaw mix. 

  3. Add in your sunflower seeds and stir. (optional)
  4. Squeeze fresh lime over mix and season with salt and pepper to your liking. Then mix again

  5. Cover and let set in the fridge so the ingredients blend well for at least 30 minutes.

Recipe Notes

This recipe tastes good on its own, but it's also great as a topper for seafood and fish tacos!
