Ingredients

Garlic Butter

  • 1/2 Stick Butter softened
  • 1 Tsp Parsley Flakes
  • 1 Tsp Garlic minced

Grilled Cheese

  • 2 Slices Sandwich Bread
  • 2 Slices Munster Cheese or cheese of your choice

Instructions

Garlic Butter:

  1. Mix all ingredients for the butter together until fully mixed. Store in an airtight container in the cooler. The butter mix will make four sandwiches.

Grilled Cheese:

  1. Get a good fire going so it has time to build up some hot coals.

  2. Butter two slices of sandwich bread using the garlic butter mixture.

  3. Place one slice butter down in the pie iron.

  4. Put both slices of cheese on top of the bread in the pie iron.

  5. Place the other slice of butter bread on top of the cheese. Put butter side facing the outside so it will touch the other half the pie iron.

  6. Close the iron and hold it over the campfire and hot coals. Cook it for about five minutes. Making sure to flip it over a few times to it cooks evenly and does not burn.

  7. Carefully open the pie iron to see if it is golden enough to your liking. If it is, then it is done.
