Homemade Garlic Bread With Parmesan Herb Butter
I don’t know about you, but I love love, love garlic bread! Making homemade garlic bread is pretty easy to do and if you ask me, it tastes better then the store-bought stuff. Plus with this recipe, we added some extra herbs and parmesan cheese to make it even better.
This homemade garlic bread is made using 3 fresh cloves of garlic. However, you can taste a small amount of the butter mixture and see if it is garlicky enough for you. If you want an even more garlic kick, add in another clove or two of garlic and mix again in the food processor.
This can be served with lunch or dinner or you could even cut it into small slices and have it as an appetizer. After you see how easy this is to make and how tasty it is, you just may never buy store bought again.

Homemade Garlic Bread With Parmesan Herb Butter
There is nothing like the taste of fresh homemade garlic bread! This recipe is pretty easy and oh so tasty. You just may never buy store bought ever again!
Ingredients
- 1 Stick Butter
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Basil packed
- 1/4 Cup Fresh Parsley packed
- 5 Stalks Fresh Chives or Green Onions
- 3 Cloves Fresh Garlic peeled
- 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
- 1/4 Tsp Salt optional
- 1/2 Tsp Pepper
- 1/2 Cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese plus a little extra for topping
- 1 10" Ciabatta loaf or French loaf sliced in half horizontally
Instructions

Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.

Add all the ingredients except the bread to the bowl of a food processor. Blend until the herbs are completely broken down and the butter is evenly combined. Scrape down the sides as necessary.

Spread a thin layer of the butter on the inside of each Ciabatta half.

Put the loaf back together and tightly wrap it with aluminum foil.

Place the bread on a baking sheet lined with foil and place in the oven.

Cook for 12 minutes and remove from the oven. Turn the heat up to broil.

Carefully unwrap the bread and open it up while still on the pan. Sprinkle with some additional Parmesan cheese and broil until it is lightly browned.

If the ends get brown before the middle, just cover them with foil. Watch it closely when it's broiling as it can burn quickly.
Recipe Notes
This is best served warm but will also keep in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in a 350 degree oven until hot.
