Even if you are not someone on the Keto diet, there are lots out there that have to watch carbs so they don’t raise their sugar levels too high. That is when things like this Keto bun recipe comes in handy.
Keep in mind that when I say about 8 net carbs per bun that is on my own figures and can be slightly off. I just added up all the carbs in the recipe and then added up all the fiber.
Then subtracted the fiber from the carbs and then divided it by the serving of 12 that this recipe makes.
One big thing to note about this recipe is it is NOT gluten-free. So if you are someone having to also fallow a gluten-free diet, this recipe is not for you.
It uses Vital wheat gluten as it is a great protein source making the recipe lower in carbs and higher in protein to follow the Keto diet.

How To Make This Keto Bread Recipe:
Put all ingredients, one at a time, in the bread maker starting with water, eggs, golden flaxseed..etc. Then set on the dough cycle.
You could also mix in a stand mixer with a dough hook attachment and mix until fully blended.
Once cycle complete, remove dough from bread maker (or mixer) and separate into 12 even portions.
Lightly dip/press each bun into your everything bagel spice mix and set on a nonstick baking sheet.
Then cover your rolls with a clean dish towel and let rise for 45 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees. Then bake your buns for 20-25 minutes (depending on your oven). They will be puffy and golden brown when done.
Remove from the oven serve warm or let them cool.

- 1 Cup Very Warm Water
- 2 Room Temp Eggs slightly beaten
- 2/3 Cup Golden Flax Meal meal not seeds
- 1/2 Cup Oat Fiber
- 1 1/4 Cups Vital Wheat Gluten
- 2 Tbsp Butter softened
- 4 Tbsp Powdered Swerve
- 1/2 Tsp Xanthum Gum
- 1 Tbsp Yeast not rapid rise
- Everything Bagel Spice Mix

Hi when I put these into carb manager it says 19 carbs for the whole recipe. How are you getting 10 carbs per roll?

I got the number by simply adding all the carbs from the ingredients then subtracting fibers from them. Then divide that number by the number of rolls the recipe makes. If you like using a carb manager and trust it, then go for it!
