DIY Cucumber Yogurt Mask
Are you someone that likes to use facial masks? Are you looking for a more healthy option than the highly processed commercial ones you can get at the store? If so, you will want to try this DIY Cucumber Yogurt Mask! It is super easy to make and only takes a few minutes to do. Plus it only takes four ingredients and most you probably already have in the kitchen.
Other than being easy to make and natural, what I like most about this mask is you feel like you are in a day spa and you don’t even have to leave the house!
Ok, so enough chatting, let us get down to the good stuff. Below you will find how to make the mask and how to use. After you give it a try, be sure to let me know what you think.
Ingredients:
1/2 Cucumber
3 Tablespoons Plain Greek Yogurt
3 Tablespoons Oatmeal
1 Teaspoon Honey
Directions:
First, you want to puree the cucumber in a blender or food processor. Both work equally as well to make this mask, so just use what you have on hand to puree it. Then in a small mixing bowl, add the cucumber puree, yogurt, and honey. Stir well to ensure all ingredients are fully blended. Now you will want to use immediately or store in an airtight container and refrigerate. This will keep in the fridge for up to 3 days.
How To Use:
Wet face with warm water and apply cucumber mask to face, keeping away from your eyes and mouth. Then relax and leave the mask on for 15 minutes. To remove the mask, add a small amount of warm water and begin to massage your face in a circular motion. This will allow the oatmeal to gently exfoliate any dry or dead cells while the cucumber softens and soothes. Rinse any remains of the mask off with warm water and pat dry with towel. Then you can apply your favorite facial moisturizer is you so choose.
