Nothing like a slice of homemade bread fresh from the oven or bread machine. If you like olives and are looking for a new bread recipe, give this Easy Olive Bread Bread Machine Recipe a try.
Easy Olive Bread Recipe
This Easy Olive Bread Bread Machine Recipe is great as a side dish with a meal or just on its own. It also makes for a great appetizer as well.
Because this is a homemade bread it will not stay fresh as long as store-bought loaves. So you will need to eat or freeze it within a few days of making it. If it starts to dry out too much, it also makes a great bread to use to make croutons.
Another great thing to use this bread for toast or even to make stuffing.
If you don’t have a machine yet, be sure to check out this bread machine as it has some amazing reviews!

How To Make This Recipe:
Start by adding all the ingredients into the baking pan of the bread machine. You want to add them in the order we have them listed.
Make sure the pan is sitting securely in the bread machine.
Now select a 1.5 lb capacity, French Cycle with a crust set to medium.
When the bread is done, be sure to let it cool before cutting. You can cut when hot if you will be eating the whole loaf right away. If you cut when hot and need to store it after you will end up with a much dryer bread.

Could you use drained olive salad the kind you use on muffelatta
Reuse Grow Enjoy says
I have never tried that. I have a feeling it would not turn out as well.
Cherie says
Yes. I’ve made cheese and olive bread with them. It was really good

I would like to use white whole wheat flour–do you think that will work?
Reuse Grow Enjoy says
It may work but you will not get as light and fluffy as a loaf.

This is a great recipe, thanks for posting. I made it with stuffed green olives and it still turned out delicious! Will be making it for friends and family pronto! Would be at home on a cheeseboard or breakfast platter or lunchtime sandwhich! Very yummy

What would be the measurement for the bread flour in grams?
Reuse Grow Enjoy says
If you used 380 grams of flour it should work.

This recipe is amazing! I used a mix of stuffed garlic and jalapeño green olives from Trader Joe’s and kalamata olives. I even add fresh minced garlic. I literally have another loaf mixing in my machine as I write this. Thank you!
Al says
That sounds delicious! How much minced garlic did you use? I am thinking of making it right now and would love to add garlic to it.

I used the ingredients in the exact opposite order (because UK bread makers suggest adding dry first) and added olives that had been marinated in olive oil, so used slightly less olive oil than the 2 tablespoons suggested. The correct weight of flour is about 450 grams, according to UK bread making machine recipes.
The bread turned out very well indeed, even though I’m using an old Panasonic from the last century!
Thank you.
Linda says
Can this be made into loaves and baked in the oven like French bread?
Reuse Grow Enjoy says
Yes it can.

Surprise this recipe doesn’t have you put the chopped mix-ins after the first knead? For all the people that have Dutch oven pans do you take the dough out to make artisan bread?
Reuse Grow Enjoy says
You can remove the dough after mixed if you want and bake it in the oven. Or you can also just simply mix by hand if you wanted and then bake in the dutch oven.
