When you are eating healthier it does not mean you have to give up all the foods you love. It just means you have to start getting creative on how you make them. Many foods that we all love and enjoy can simply be made in with more healthier options. Like burgers! Check out this delicious Southwest Black Bean Burger Recipe.
This black bean burger is made in the oven, however, you could also make them on the grill. Just know that if you make them on the grill, you will need to put down foil or a cooking sheet. That is because these will fall apart more easily unlike real burgers and you don’t want them to fall through the grill grate.
To make these burgers, you will need a food processor. You could try to do by hand, but I find that using a food processor chops it so much better then you can ever do by hand. That means you end up with a more evenly mixed burger and not huge chunks in one burger and not the others.
