Gluten Free Pumpkin Banana Bread Recipe
This gluten free pumpkin banana bread is really great on its own but also tastes amazing when paired with my Instant Pot Pumpkin Butter!
This is a great combination of the classic banana bread and the classic pumpkin bread. It adds a whole new layer of flavor when they are baked together.
If you are not someone that is following a gluten free diet, you can swap out the flour for your normal all-purpose flour and it will turn out the same.
How To Make This Bread:
Start by preheating the oven to 350 degrees. Then place a piece of parchment paper to a 9×5” loaf pan. Spray the paper with cooking spray.
Now in a large mixing bowl, mix flour, xanthan gum, baking soda, baking powder, pumpkin pie spice, and both sugars. Whisk to combine well. If you are using nuts, you can stir them in now.
In another bowl, mix oil, eggs, milk, pumpkin, banana and vanilla extract. Mix until combined well.
Next, you want to mix contents from both bowls together.
Pour the mixture into the prepared loaf pan.
Place pan in the oven and bake for 60-65 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
Remove loaf from pan and allow to cool before slicing. You could eat while still warm, but I find the flavor is even better when it is cooled.

- 1 Tsp Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1 Tsp Xanthan Gum omit if flour blend contains it
- 1/2 Cup Granulated Sugar
- 1 Tsp Baking Powder
- 2 Cups Gluten Free All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 Tsp Baking Soda
- 2 Tsp Vanilla
- 1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
- 2 Eggs room temp
- 2/3 Cup Milk of choice
- 1/3 Cup Avocado Oil
- 1/2 Cup Pumpkin Puree
- 1/2 Cup Chopped Pecans or Walnuts Chopped Optional
- 1 Medium Banana mashed
